KAIROS FUTURA | KENYA
Kairos Futura is an arts-focused futurist organisation that fosters positive societal transformation through creative expression and community engagement. Their project, Hakuna Utopia: In Search of Micro-Utopia, useS immersive storytelling and performance art to achieve this goal.
THE MOMENTUM SUPPORT INITIATIVE | NIGERIA
The Momentum Support Initiative (TMSI) is a youth-led organisation using advocacy and empowerment programs to improve marginalised communities’ lives in Nigeria. Founded in 2021, they focus on environmental sustainability, human rights, and youth empowerment, and address these issue areas through education, training, and collaboration.
ROGER ANIS & VERY NILE | EGYPT
Roger Anis, an Egyptian documentary photographer and curator passionate about environmental advocacy, in collaboration with VeryNile, spotlights stories of the Nile River. VeryNile combines social and environmental impact, developing eco-friendly solutions to remove inorganic waste from the river.
TRULIFE | SOUTH AFRICA
Trulife is a South African NPO improving the lives of young people through education and creative arts. Driven by the motto “Brave Choices = Better Futures”, the organisation offers a digital curriculum, resources, and school workshops, covering topics like bullying, leadership, and mental health.

DAAI DENG | SOUTH AFRICA
Established in 2020, Daai Deng is a local, black, and queer-owned organisation that provides a platform for creatives to showcase and sell their work. To raise awareness of the importance of water and the imbalance caused by climate change, they used music and poetry to unmute communities and encourage them to speak up.
FOOTPRINTS OF DAVID | NIGERIA
Footprints of David Arts Foundation and the Bariga community organised “My Bariga, My Pride,” a celebration of their way of life. “My Bariga, My Pride”, honoured the women of Bariga and acknowledged their contributions through photographic portraits displayed along the market.
REFLECTION ARTS | EGYPT
Reflection Arts is building a sustainable platform for artistic expression and knowledge exchange, and through collaboration with artists and the community, they inspire people to speak out against climate injustice in Africa. Their showcase brought together two powerful creative experiences: “I SEA”, an exhibition exploring Alexandria’s past and future, and “Seashell Voices”, a theatrical performance amplifying the call for climate action.
TAMBA CIRCUS | MOZAM, MALAWI, ZIM
Tamba Circus is a creative advocacy and arts organisation using African storytelling, circus social pedagogy, transformative theatre and cultural heritage to address social issues. Their Caravan of Hope covered a distance of about 1,800 kilometres in 12 days, during which 30 ARTivists raised awareness of the plight of cyclone-affected communities.
THE ASSEMBLY | NIGERIA
The Assembly is an open innovation organisation dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and creatives from Africa and its diaspora to succeed in the global fashion industry. The Assembly and artists worked with Ajegunle residents to design clothing for a future impacted by climate change, envisioning a world where people live in harmony with the challenging environment.
